Extracurricular
St. Catherine Labouré School offers many varied extracurricular opportunities to enrich the students’ experience. Students can grow and develop in different areas of interest, and also experience the benefits of teamwork while strengthening friendships.
Some of the many extracurricular activities include:
- Altar servers
Opportunity to serve the parish as altar servers
- Art Club
This is an organization of 5th and 6th graders who create artwork to enhance the school campus.
- Athletics
Competitive baseball, softball, soccer, volleyball, basketball, and golf teams
- Bellarmine Speech Team
Develop your public speaking skills through debate, dramatic monologues and more. Participation in regional competitions is encouraged.
- Chess Club
The chess club is open to SCL students in grades K through 8.
- Children’s Choir

Organization dedicated to service.
- Scouts
National youth program designed to develop character, offer rich experiences, and teach leadership
- Student Council
Student Council is an organization that provides leadership opportunities for middle school grades, and will be designed to encourage school spirit and unification through service and camaraderie. Student Council offers a role model component that is beneficial and compliments the TAKE ACTION Olweus Anti-Bullying theme.
- Yearbook The SCL Yearbook is a student-created publication, which chronicles in pictures the special events of each school year.
