Yearbook
The SCL Yearbook is a student-created publication, which chronicles in pictures the special events of each school year. The Yearbook Staff meets each week during the school year to plan and generate all of the page layouts. Individual photos of every student are included, as well as group shots of clubs and organizations. Some of the highlights are candid photos of the year’s activities
SCL Scholastic Chess Club
The chess club is open to SCL students in grades K through 8. All equipment is provided. Instruction will be available to teach the rules of the game and to help players of all levels improve their game. Chess strengthens critical thinking and problem solving abilities and has been shown in studies to improve test scores.
Speech Team
Develop your public speaking skills through debate, dramatic monologues and more. Participation in regional competitions is encouraged.
